Hi!
I wasn't yet able to find out how to fix my request for myself, so I hope
there's someone with a hint for me.
To have the RackSpace view match the physical layout of our data centre, I
would like to reverse sort the listing - both rackrows and and racks.
For explanation, the current layout is like this:
RackRow A: Rack A1 A2 A3 A4 A5
RackRow B: Rack B1 B2 B3 B4 B5
[...]
According to our data centre, I would like it to be displayed like this:
[...]
RackRow B: Rack B5 B4 B3 B2 B1
RackRow A: Rack A5 A4 A3 A2 A1
This would make it easier to find your way through the data centre, since
the "common sense" here is that you define the layout in a way that you
expect the entrance of the data centre room on the upper left, from where
- for historical reasons - the racks are reverse ordered.
Could someone tell me where to patch to archive this? :)
Le deagh dhùraghd,
Frank Altpeter
