Re: Customer Information
Thanks for having a look. And especially thanks for such a great piece
of work, Denis.

I mentioned I made dictionary entries when in fact I did not. I made
Object Attribute entries (strings) and assigned (applied) them to "Server".
I've added attributes such as:
Company Name
Address
City/St.
Contact Person
Phone
Email
I've also added a "JonesBoxen" in the trunk demo. Please have a look. I
think that explains it better than words. :) The Object Attributes are
numbered for logical sequence.
The attributes are displayed in the Optional Attributes Portal when in
Properties view of the Server Object. I can add specific customer detail
now to a server object. The customer detail is then displayed in the
"Summary Portal" on the "View" tab of the server object.
However, the way I have set things, if a customer has multiple
devices/objects, each object must be filled out manually with customer
detail.
What I am hoping for is the ability to have a "Customer Object" to
include detailed customer contact information. This customer object
would be a separate single that can be linked and unlinked to devices
(server objects, switch objects) as devices are added and retired
without having to manually include the customer detail for each object.
I suppose a Link/Unlink option similar to how ports are linked to
switches or KVMs would work. ???
I hope I made sense with that! :)
