A quick, but quite accurate way to pick user-generated data from
RackTables database is to screen out records listed in init-dictbase.sql
and init-dictvendors.sql. That said, this is likely to change in 0.17.x
line.
Any chance of an import/export to csv or xml? Or some stable api to get data in/out even it if is straight to the db? I have a few thousand items already mostly inventoried with ocsinventory-ng and monitored by OpenNMS and would like to come up with some way to keep a visual representation in sync, preferably by entering new locations in one place and re-using the network and hardware info the other tools already have.
