Hello all.
The first revision of RackTables TODO list has been put online at
http://wikihost.org/wikis/racktables/wiki/start
It currently lists about 75% of feature requests and ideas that I have
accumulated during last months (mine own and sent by users). More
to list. Given the amount of work presumed, I wouldn't like to start any
of the "big" features before having a roadmap for several months.
Your opinions and comments on the TODO list are highly appreciated.
Please use the current mailing list for the discussion, as the wikipage
above is temporary and will be eventually transformed into a number of
bugs in our bug tracker (expected in 2008).
The current trunk code has accumulated enough fixes to be
routinely released as 0.14.8 in the end of December:
bugfix: adjusted hardcoded values in VLAN trigger
bugfix: adjusted HW, SW and port types in SNMP data collector
bugfix: Cisco connector: tolerate switch ports in suspended state
bugfix: nameless object in link list could not be clicked
bugfix: fix SQL tables structure
bugfix: Live VLANs displayed VLANs missing from switch table improperly
bugfix: sort auth data by username
update: corrected some dictionary entries
update: better layout for Live VLANs tab
new feature: UI option to control asset tag warning
new feature: UUID (RFC4122) sticker
new feature: empty rackspace detector
new feature: initial wiki-style markup support in dictionary
Thank you.
