Hi,

since we have 400+ servers and other ethernet campatible devices in our
datacenter and sometimes it's quite a mess to trace the cable from the
switch to the device it would be a feature we would appreciate as well.
There should be an option to link one patch panel to another and after this
requirement is met I think it's pretty easy to trace the way from the
server to the switch. But sometime, in our environment, there are more than
one patch panels in play (server port -> rack pp -> rack pp -> other room
rack pp -> switch port)
So I think it would be necessary to implement fixed patch panel to patch
panel cabeling (like the inhouse cabeling) as well as dynamic patch panel
to patch panel cabeling (like with patch cables)

If it would be possible to do this, it would be more than a nice to have
feature.
