[racktables-users] Re: Not Showing the Rack

In trying to figure out my own problem I am officially stumped.  Any new racks 
that get created don't get a visual for the rack and the visual for utilization 
also doesn't display.  I have combed thru the sql tables on the live server 
(that doesn't work) vs a test server (that does work) and can't seem to find 
anything of value.  I am about ready to start over with this since I can't 
figure out whats wrong.  Any help would be appreciated.  I can send any info 
you need.

Sorry to keep replying to my own email.  I have semi-figured out my problem 
with my limited sql knowledge :) .  In the mysql table the thumb_data field for 
the racks that don't show have the value of NULL.  I really don't know how it 
got there or how to keep it from happening.  I have imported the fields from my 
backup sql db and put the changes in the live db and the thumb_data field now 
has the long string of numbers.  And now the racks are showing up.  Yipee.

The problem is I don't really understand how it got that way.  I have 3 more 
racks that are showing up this way and they aren't in my backup.  So how do I 
fix those since the string of numbers appears to be different and I can't use 
it for other fields?

To add to the original.  I finally got my backup server backup (another story) 
and tried to compare the 2.  The only difference I see now is that on the live 
install, rack1 shows how many objects, but the utilization doesn't show at all.

Not sure if this helps or muddies the water.

the rack information for the 1st shows the visual and shows that it does have 
free space.  But the main page doesn't show the visual like the 3rd - 5th
I am mostly the admin for setting this up and had 0 to do with the design or 
adding things to it and I suspect something has been changed but I can't tell 
what.  The history just tells me about objects added, it doesn't mention any 
other setting changes.  And the properties for the racks look identical from 
what I can tell.  I added the design page to show that the only fields that I 
can check are the ones check, nothing else will let me check it.
