This option makes little sense to me.  If you have port x on a patch
panel it is a given that it connects to port x on a different patch
panel, if it does not then you have a problem.  to me basically it is an
extension of a cable.

I am not sure that it is worth the time and effort that could be used to
further develop this GREAT software.

Here's an example scenario. Assume you have a server whose Ethernet port is connected to a local patch panel. In another rack, you have the "other end" patch panel, it's port is connected to a Cisco switch. So there are four ports and two separate Ethernet cables involved here.

Server's Ethernet -> Local Patch Panel port 8
Remote Patch Panel port 8 -> Cisco switch port 4

When I view the server in RackTables I'd like it to display the fact that it's plugged into local patch panel port 8 AND switch port 4. Right now to find both pieces of information you have to click around a bit.
