[racktables-users] Re: How to define Blades (or virtual Hosts)

Dennis,

I appreciate your prompt reply, thank you.

I like the software, no doubt. I know that there is work to be done,
and the plan looks great. I will think about your offer and send
suggestions, let me review the doc's a bit and see if I come up with any
ideas.

Is there any way to define virtual hosts right now? I tried using ports
and that kind of works, but I can not define any attributes to the port,
like asset tag, SN and stuff like that. Also the ports are not part of
the work search so I am not able to find the host that I put on the
port.

Please don't get me wrong, I like the software, I know there are more
users out that currently have blades in their DC and I am wondering what
they are doing. I don't want to come across like a beggar with a
club... I take my hat out to you and others like you who do this kind
of work for the community.

thanks again,

Luis
