I'm glad you like the software. Here's the latest specification on the
feature you are requesting: http://racktables.org/trac/wiki/RackPlan
If you (or any other user on the list) have an idea how to make it
better, just post it to the list. Once the design is agreed, I will
be able to outline implementation schedule.
