It's an option in the "User interface" menu:
* List source: IPv4-enabled objects
Just add "or {$typeid_5}" and you can add an ip address to your storage
devices

Our NetApps are just one object, we don't make any difference between
the head and the diskshelfs. The only reason I see for this type of
configuration is because you want the reflect the whole physical
configuration of your NetApp (hba to diskshelf, etc.)
