Ray, That is not a bad model actually, I kind of like it. We have a lot of enclosures and getting more.. Using Rows for Racks and Racks for Enclosures is a workable solution for us... I have to think about re-doing my stuff.. Hi Rob, Racktables doesn't currently have support for blade centres or modular devices. One option that has been mentioned on this list is simply to create a new rack for the chassis. Personally I've bodged something together as per the screenshot attached. In this case the Dell M1000e chassis has 16 blade slots in the front and 6 network slots in the back. This isn't ideal but works for us as power constraints only allow us to put one chassis in any one rack. I'm just wondering ... how would I represent something like an IBM Bladecenter?? ( http://is.gd/2gG3T ) A Bladecenter is a 7-12U chassis that contains up to 14 servers and 8 switches. I see how I can put the chassis in a rack .... but how do I put the blade servers and switches in the chassis??? --> Rob -- Ray Robertson Technical Architect Eckoh UK Limited Telford House, Corner Hall, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire HP3 9HN T 01442 458375 F 01442 458443 M 07718 358658 W www.eckoh.com <http://www.eckoh.com/> Winner, Best Use of Technology Partnership, CCA Excellence Awards 2007 Winner, Innovation of the Year Award, Transport Innovations 2007 This communication contains information, which is confidential and may also be privileged.
