[racktables-users] About L2Address to be unique

Hi,
First of all, nice software :).. but im trying to hack the snmp import script a little bit.. i want to be able to import my ZyXEL switches.. but i has found out that you cannot have the same mac address on multiple ports on the same object :/
Well.. all the ports on my switch has the same mac address, so have anyone found and made some kind of hack in order to enter the mac addresses on a switch with the same mac addresses on the entire switch? 

Or should this be reported as a to come feature?
And as my last concert, will it have any negative effect to remove the unique constraint on my l2address row in the database, will i break anything by have multiple rows with the same mac address?
