[racktables-users] Re: /32 Network Issues

Yes, I’m sure I want a /32. I only have one address in the network which is the
Loopback address of the Router which is configured as an OSPF stub network. The
question isn’t an architectural one of how to re-configure my network to fit
Racktables but how do I configure Racktables to support my existing network?

Thanks

Are you sure that you want a /32

Using a /32 would mean that you have only one host in the network...

how many hosts do you have in that subnet?

Hi all,

I seemed to have come across two problems with /32 networks
that I am unable to resolve and hope that somebody will help me to figure out.

We use /32 netmasks for our router loopback addresses.

Somehow (and I’m not sure how) I had managed to add a 192.168.254.1/32 Network
to the IPV4 space but when I try to define the address to the router as a
loopback I get the following error; there is no network for IP address
"192.168.254.1"

When I try and add another /32 Network to the IPV4 Space I get the following
error; Generic error: Invalid netmask

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
