Well it's been -20C for the last week and today it warmed up to -5 (see 5
min old picture) so when it's "warm" we get snow. i.e. I've stopped for the
winter. I still enjoy the progress reports from those in warmer clim's (or
heated shops).
During this time of year I work on long running projects like my foucault
pendulum or my sundial.

I never run out of things to do

Hello Daryl,
in our workshop we have excellent oxyacetylene equipment, but it is
hardly used because of its complicated handling. I would only use it
for brazing, welding very thin sheets or flame cutting very thick
material.
Thanks for pointing out the differences between 110 and 220 V
welders. Here we have no option because of 230 V default current.
BTW: any news about your project?
Cheers,
Jürgen.
