[python] Re: welding

Well it's been -20C for the last week and today it warmed up to -5 (see 5 min old picture) so when it's "warm" we get snow. i.e. I've stopped for the winter. I still enjoy the progress reports from those in warmer clim's (or heated shops).

During this time of year I work on long running projects like my foucault pendulum or my sundial.

Hello Daryl,

in our workshop we have excellent oxyacetylene equipment, but it is
hardly used because of its complicated handling. I would only use it
for brazing, welding very thin sheets or flame cutting very thick
material.

Thanks for pointing out the differences between 110 and 220 V
welders. Here we have no option because of 230 V default current.

BTW: any news about your project?

Cheers,
Jürgen.
