Weight. Flevo front part is very heavy and in combination with lack of self 
centering, one has to struggle making tight turns (i.e. lifting the wheel back 
to a straight position). Being heavy also makes the Flevo cumbersome to carry.

The seat position is too high for my taste. And the original seat is awful 
(very upright and badly shaped for my body).

Wheel slip. I don't know why, but the Flevo was a lot more prone to slip on 
loose gravel or weat leaves than monty is.


Suspension. The twin rubber blocks makes you bounce all over the place.

But still - the Flevo is a wonderful invention.

olafOlaf,maybe you tried the wrong Flevo?This one:- is low- has a long 
wheelbase (so less wheelslip)- has a different suspension (no extra bouncing 
and adjustable to your flavor)- with a comfortable wooden seat(with thanks to 
Jan Brandse)But, as you mentioned: the flevo is still a wonderful invention 
(i've got both: a flevo and a python; i ride them both: the flevo in city and 
to work, the python on recreative trips, turning cycle on flevo approx. 4 
meters, on the python approx. 5 meters; experience on the flevo 1500 km, on the 
python 200km and still learning ;-) ).Greetings,henk.
