 Traction is good enought, as good as any two wheeler, except three wheeler 
does not fall. Steering is easy. Rolling resistance is bigger than two wheeler, 
but air resistance is smaller than upright bike. So on ice and less snow 
hipparion is little faster than upright bike, but on thick snow its slower.
