Is there any more info to be found about this study?
Depends if you know russian ;-)
Here is the thread in the russian HPV forum:
http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ru_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fvelomobile.org%2ff_mess.php%3fthing%3d51
Do you think the rear part swings to one side or does it go down under
the seat? I can't really make that out.
It seems to be hinged sideways. I know these hinges from
some 70s folding bikes and you are right: heavy stuff.
Actually Denis Silantiev is subscribed to this list, but I don´t
know if he is reading all the postings. His english is excellent and
I can give you his mail address if you want to contact him.
However, this fuels my energy to continue the pursuit of a small
recumbent folder that is both fast and easy to fold. The holy Graal of
foldable knicklenkers must be found!
:-)
Hopefully the paratroopers won´t discover this. A foldable
micro python would be the ultimate vehicle for them ...
Cheers,
Jürgen.
