80 was a myth, corrected by Rasmus (I think) some time ago.

No. It is still in service.
The one I am building right now will have an angle between 65 and 67.

The 72 deg. bike, that Peter has, feels somewhat stiffer to me. It is hard
to describe. Cornering appears more difficult, though this might be a
matter of practice. When Peter tried mine, it was much easier for him
to stay in the seat.
