Hi everybody. I'm getting together all the stuff for my trike. Got the steel, the wheels, the back forks and brakes - that was the easy part. Now I'll place an order with one or the other Dutch ligfietsen-winkel (shop) to get at stuff that is prohibitively expensive when you try to get it through "normal" bike shops. Let's take http://www.hafa-ligfietsen.nl as an example. They sell http://www.hafa-ligfietsen.nl/test/lagerbus.htm plastic bushings - I think they are like those used in the central joint of the Flevo, aren't they? But the measurements are not very clear. "boring" must be the axle diameter that can be used with this bushing. is "schaft" then the inner diameter of the tube this bushing fits in? "kraag" is not clear either... Using these bushings would be a nice and simple solution for my trike, perhaps even easier than a BB. And they've got fantastic stuff like that, I'll ask them if it can be used for my 3x7 gear. aantalAchterpadden

euroOf course I'd also have to ask what a balhoofd is, a balhoofd buis, a bidonmoer, a stalen dragerbus etc. I might need those parts, they surely look interesting. schijfrem is a disc brake, I'm proud I understood that... Before I get on these good peoples' nerves I wanted to ask you here. I'm not so worried about your nerves, you see. *g* Stefan |
