Hi Listers
I'm in front of the computer typing with my right hand, a bag of ice around
my left thumb. I caught it on the ground while trying to ride my python and
sprained it...
The good news is that I made good progress in learning to ride the beast.
At first progress was measured in mm, then cm, then m and now a few meters,
occasionally even more than 10! Not bad for only the second time riding the
bike.
I notice that it is easier to ride if I'm on a slight downgrade. It would
probably be easier if I connected the shifters and could use low gear!
So long as I am going in more or less a straight line things go not to
bad...turns seem to be more at the will of the python;-). Well, there may
have been one or two turns I partially controlled.
I think that I am going to add a handle bar to the front unit on which to
mount the shifters and brake levers. I wonder if that would assist in
learning to ride the python? I mean having a handle bars!, I know that
having brakes and shifters would help!
