So I will build during winter a recumbent similar to Tom Traylors one. He
wrote me that his front
fairing has little influence in windy weather.
I am curious how it will feel to ride it.
Jurgen: I built a Tour Easy for my first recumbent and it was quite good!
I still have it and am modifying it to be a suspension model (seat is coming
along nicely!) I highly recommend this bike as a first recumbent. It is
easy to build and easy to control. with a proper fairing it can be
frighteningly
fast! AD CArson has a website called Recycled Recumbents
_Recycled Recumbent_ (http://www.recycledrecumbent.com/) which has a
modified version of the Tour Easy featured. I plan to build another one soon!
Proven design and comfortable as well as stable. I was riding next to AD last
summer on RAGBRAI when we topped 40 mph. perfect stability! Easy to build too!
