Hi,
had a creative day today:
1 as an attempt to decrease the instability at lower speeds i put a "steering
demper?" on the python, and... yes it definitely worked out fine (i must
confess it wasn't all my own idea ;i took it from the "FlevoBike" ;-)).(picture

2 as an result of some brainstorming about an easy way to swich between a
single-rearend and a trike-rearend i came up with two "clamps". Made from a
piece off rectangular tube 40x20x1,5. Cut it in four pieces, and clamped it
around the main tube off the python on one side and around the main tube off
the trike-rearend at the other side. Fixed everything with four M8 bolts very
tight. Guess two exhaustclamps will do the job too! (picture 2).
Riding the python is going well. Today a couple of km's to test the demper and
give me some more confidence at higer speeds.
Love the bike every day a little more. I mean isn't she beautiful standing
there under the apple tree, glowing in the afternoon sun. Look at that figure:
slim, mean, smart.I really think i am falling in love with her. Anyone else
know this feeling :-)) (picture 3).
Will keep you informed about any progress.
Oh, by the way: if anyone is interested in using the "steering demper?" you can
order it online here: http://www.ligfietsshop.nl/ (go to webwinkel, parts and
"diabolorubber".
(don't forget to mention my name ;-)).
Greetings,
henk van eerden.
