Thanks Frank,
the folding capabilities of your python are amazing.
If you don´t mind, I´ll show them on my website.
Speaking of folding or rather dismantling, there is a new photo on the
monty page:
www.liggcykel.se/montypage.html
I had an appointment today with someone who wanted to try my Hurricane
and since she had never ridden a recumbent I figured it would be good
if we could ride a longer stretch together so she really would have
time to relax and discover the benefits of recumbent cycling. So I
brought Monty on the trailer, assembled the bike at the meeting place
and off we went.
Also the seat is interesting. A good mixture of foldable
and rigid. Might be interesting to Olaf.
The increased folding capability is tempting, but compared to a rounded
curve at the lumbar region this seems a little 'edgy'. But perhaps
there is little pressure on the seat in that area.
But I am often surprized by sudden instability and have
to make a controled landing.
This sudden instability seems typical for the learning phase ;-)
Especially when you try to go faster. But it should disappear
with the practice.
The longer you ride the more seldom these excursions into the greenery
occurs. And by time they will diminish to an involuntary twitch of the
front wheel. And (I believe & hope) eventually also this twitch will
disappear. Enter Nirvana ;-)
