[python] help! need building tips!

Hi All,

I started building my version of the python. But I got a little side tracked by building a trailer to transport parts between home and the workplace. I thought this would take only a few days to build (its a simple one-wheel bob like trailer), but now I have been working on this for over a week (two weeks if you count in the breaks). A little annoying, but I believe to finish it today.

Most of the time I am busy looking if things are aligned up strait. And this takes me a looooong time. A combination of bad eyesight and uncertainty slurp up the hours I spend at the workplace.

I get very aware I am a programmer, not a mechanic.

For example, after assembly of the trailer I can see the steering axis of trailer is visibly *not* in plane with the bicycle. It doesn't matter but it is irritating.

Does anybody have some tricks to get going a little faster and more precise?

The concrete questions I have

* how do you align the rear/front wheel axises in both horizontal+vertikal.

* how do you align the BB with the front wheel

* how do you align the middle axle (mine is a eduardo axle ;-) ). with the rear wheel. This is going to be my next acute problem, because I already welded the rear fork to the middle part, the next step will be to weld/braze a U onto it between which the middle axle fits.
