Hi Rod,
I could adjust the axial load by tightening the axial bolt and using
a counter nut for keeping it in position: The U-bracket bends slightly
when tightening the bolt thus passing the load down to the bearings.
I haven't forgotten to provide you with photos and measurements of my
python. I'm still adjusting; for instance, I shortened the wheel base
last weekend, and I'm happy with the result. I'll apply some paint,
make the measurements, photograph it and send all that to you soon.
Be sure that we are all curious about your reports ...
Cheers,
Jürgen.
