[python] burning legs

hello list,
i'm wondering (two weeks before begining the building) if you have to open your legs wide in order to avoid contact with the front wheel. I tried to figure it out with a wheel between my legs and it seemed that i had to push it quite far from my groin in order to avoid such contact. what distances are you using? I think I will need a lot of time to overcome the fear of a front crash and the potential damages the wheel would cause to my intimate organs... ouch
