[python] Re: brazing aluminium

Hi All,

Google "Lumiweld" , this looks like an identical product that I have used
on 3 occasions to repair customers car sumps that had small cracks from
speed humps , they had to be removed, spotlessly clean & required
pre-heating because of size. All the repairs were successful, one now 3
years old & oil tight. Also a motorcycle clutch lever & various other small
parts.
I think its great for filling cracks & holes, not so sure I would want
to rely on it for structural strength, though I read a (Classic & motorcycle
mechanics?) magazine article that did test it & found it very strong.
Only my opinion, but to try & build a Ali frame would be 100x more
difficult than say MIG or Ark welding steel. All the more reason to TRY IT
!!

If someone REALLY wants the article, I could probably find it.

Regards, Carl.
