The points: wheelhub - Pivot upper - Pivot lower is a triangle, the little tubes betwen upper and lower tubes are just to reinforce the bike.

Uhm, which two tubes do you mean. There are tubes all over your bike ;-)

Do you think it would also have worked only using 3 tubes running into the pivot? Thus at the rear hub, start out with four tubes. Connect the lower two tubes just after the wheel and continue in the middle to the pivot. All triangles are still there, but the lower part is weaker.

Torbens bike is lighter, and today i seen it and it is made with 1.5mm 35x35, 30x10 tubes. flevo pivot. He didn't have mud-gards or a rear brake, but still: it is not fair ;-).

...It must be possible to go lighter with using these smart thin tubes.

I will rebuild the seat a little bit. The piece of wood is for no use. I am just hanging between the front and the back suspension. I will change it this week, then I will send a photo. (easier than to explain) It will be similar to a beach chair. 

I believe I understand, you want to remove the seat plate?
