Jürgen, if you feel that my trike questions are out of place here,
please tell me; if that is the reason my last post never made it to
the mailing list and got no reaction I would have appreciated a
notification ( I just thought the graphics were too large). The
designs have been a great inspiration to me and continue do do so. It
is just that my sense of balance is slightly impaired and I dare not
put the effort in a two wheeler I may never be able to ride - no
matter how many other people can do so. Plus I want to use it in the
winter.

Hello Tobias,
thanks for filling out the news vacuum and for interrupting the
eternal trike-thread with your newborn baby. Nicely done and with
some features that are completely new. First the use of three small
rod-ends instead of two big ones (keep an eye on the plate that holds
the bolts of the rod ends: seems a little undersized to me), and
second the oversized tires that make any other suspensions
superfluous. Get yourself a seat and tell us how it rides.
Schöne Grüße,
Jürgen.
PS: Right, I toured around the whole sunny weekend with my P3, along
with my wife on her P1. Great weather and great time!

hi pythonauts,
there seems to be a lack of news, silence in the list. so let's fill
this with the happy news of a newborn py, just here in reutlingen. no
roll-out so far, but we're on our way.also, she doesn't have a name
yet.

Hi Stefan
I too get inspired when I see new trike / bike ideas. I would sit for
hours making sketches and then eventually firing up my PC do do a bit of
CAD or Blender Modelling.
These ideas never seem to make it past that stage as always find
something else to tinker with. I have been riding my trike for most of
the year, still in uncompleted form.
I find it amazing that women (the wife)will say. "When are you going to
stop making that rubbish and buy a car?". Then when you are finally
done. " Honey I need you to fetch
some rocks for my new garden feature in your new trike. Well my new
trike is now old and the rust has taken its toll on her. I have attached
a photo of the new trailer that I will
be using for my new trike rear end. It is made of fibre glass. 1000mm
long, 500mm wide, and +/- 350mm deep. It weighs 8kg, and will have 20"
wheels all round.
I dont know what her carrying capacity will be " Hi Bruno " :-[ . I
should finish the drawings by the month end. If you or anyone is
interested, I will post it.
The one feature that I like about it, is that it lockable. 8-) So
nobody will be able to steal my beers while I am getting some snacks to
eat while riding.
It will be based on my bike/trike convertable as i like the minimalist
look. Which also means fewer things that can break, or bend or assemble
incorrectly.
I originally built the trike for hauling goods. But I spend loads of
time just aimlessly cruising around with no particular place to go.
Anyway I have to go now
Cheers
Gavin
