Second, all the math and theoretical programming is cool to produce software

CoG and locate the position and value of the "masses".

That is actually what I was hoping to calculate from Jürgen's experiments showing wheel flop with angles. Knowing the critical angle for that bike, and its other factors, should then allow one to calculate the "effective" placement of the masses from the physics. Since the body bridges the pivot it is really not obvious.

What would be far more useful, I think, is to identify what the important
factors are, and what their changes do to the handling. Pivot angle, seat
height(?), wheel base, traill, BB height, etc. Maybe this is what these
programs will determine and I'm just not clever enough to see that at this
point. ?

Some of these are indicated in a general fashion by the stability program, but not as well as anyone would like. I'm hoping that calculating the potential energy changes with steer and geometry, combined with other's experiences, will be a better indicator.
