Hi Listies,
this weekend I visited Jürgen Maier, who lives only 100 km
from me.
We had a great time test riding each others prototypes as
there were:
- Tom Traylor clone 2x20": Very stable downhill, but
somewhat wobbly when accelerating or going slow.

- Green Python with hammock seat: great look, very comfy
seat.

- Leverarm Python: big fun to ride, but not real useable because
climbing and maneuvering is a pain.

- Python P3: Jürgen Maier could ride it almost instantly.
Besides the test-riding we had interesting theoretical discussions.
Jürgen Maier told me about his plans to use Iglidur bushings for
the pivot of his next python. They are lightweight and can stand
800 kg of dynamic load. He is in contact with Igus and probably
they will send him some free bushings soon.
Special thanks to him for his warm hospitality ...
Cheers,
Jürgen.
