I think these vacuum trikes are very cool and I don't want their
information to disappear off the net. Consequently, I have located as much
info about them as I could and compiled a little "shrine" to them here:
http://bikes.jkcc.com/vacuum.htm
They actually steer a fair bit differently than a python does and the
handlebars control both rear wheel steering AND the roll of the front end.
It's said it takes a while to get used to turning technique on these trikes,
but once you do, you can make very sharp turns and pretty high speed.
On a python note, the practicing continues and I have fewer and fewer
wipe-outs. I don't have enough control yet to ride with my hands relaxed on
the handlebars, but I can gently reach down and apply rear braking when I
get going too fast. My other friend can ride mine very easily now as well,
so we're planning a python for him as well - that will make three more
pythons. I'm giving my front fender/fairing to another friend of mine who
can "clean it up" a little and will hopefully give it a CF wrap. He's also
building a python but will be using dual 451s on his. His site is here, but
no python info yet:
