Nice trick Dirk.

Shortening the cranks in a range of upto 30 mm might be
an attractive solution for people with short inseam lenght.

I have heard that even tall recumbent riders prefer short
cranks for racing purposes.

PS: Had a great 80 km trip today. Bright sunshine at 2° C.
The tips of my toes went a bit cold, but it was bearable.
