Hello Koen,
just saw your newly build P06 on the gentseliggers forum:
http://gentseliggers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=442&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
You really push things forward ;-)
Keep in mind that if the pivot axis does not go through
your hips, the pedalling/steering interferences will not be
minimized.
6) where do you place the brakes if you plan to ride it without hands?
Under the seat is a NO-NO. See point 2.
The wooden seat plate of my P3 protects the brake levers when
falling. Without handlebars the python gets very narrow.
7) Are there any tips for starting to ride such a Python? Such a article
is not yet placed on the site. I am sure it will be very helpful if there
was one.
It´s almost the same like learning a flevo. Try to relax and
let the bike go where it wants to. With more practice you
will gain more control. A huge empty parking lot helps.
Good luck,
Jürgen.
