I certainly agree with that.
One thing which I found very encouraging was my ability to ride a python
after several months of not riding. I was riding as well as ever from the
first pedal turn. It seems that the skill is not forgotten once acquired,
much like for riding a "normal" bike. It's just that the skill level
doesn't increase unless you ride.
