Here in snowy Cleveland, I am also thinking about a trike,
if I can find someone to help with the welding. :-)

The more I think about it, the Python bike must rely heavily
on the ability to lean in order to turn. It looks like with the
pivot at 80-degrees, you cannot turn the wheel much while
keeping your legs on the pedals, and just lean through the turn.
Maybe those that have actually built and ridden them can clarify this.

That need to lean the frame to turn can cause trouble on a trike.
I have an old Schwin Desoto Classic upright delta trike with a
similar head angle, and when you turn it feels like the trike
wants to turn in on itself and makes it very prone to tipping.
Making the pivot angle less vertical would allow the front section
to lean more and take away the need for the frame to lean.
You don't have to worry about balancing stability as much
because it is a trike.

I guess if you want interchangeable trike/bike rear sections
you are stuck with the pivot angle for best stability on the bike.
Maybe the trike rear section will have to be made to lean like
