[python] Re: (Python) More progress!

Carl, I'm only concerned that you might get breakage in the event of heavy 
loading at any significant distance above that point-- this would be 
exacerbated by the hole being through the top and bottom of the piece. 
Otherwise I really like the form of your construction.
