When I ride hands in my lap and at great speed, I sometimes feel
unconnected to the bike, that the bike will fall away under me. Is that
something that goes away with time for the handlebar-less people?

I am considering making a new python (for myself) without handlebars
--I'd like to save place when folding, and would accept the less fine
control (I have) when manouvering.
