Dirk probably has the longest experience of the Eduardo-type pivot.

The tapered roller bearings are bigger and heavier than the
angular contact ball bearings that Eduardo used, but as they
were taken from old car wheels they cost me nothing.
Although I would consider Eduardo's solution
"state of the art".

Is this pivot still the "official version" (as stated in another
post from 2004)? The construction page still shows the bottom
bracket solution. Would you please make the pictures (and the CAD-
jpg) available again?
