[python] Re: Moving the Pivot point behind the seat?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you thinking that you can't pedal while
cornering? If so, you'd be wrong. The python can be turned while still
pedalling without any problem at all. Once you learn the finesse, you can
even accelerate out of the apex of the turns. The actual deflection of the
front end while turning is extremely small, even for very sharp turns,
because the bike leans over in a turn - same thing with a normal bike. The
python turns so sharp that it is easy to grind the inside pedal on the
ground when both pedals are horizontal. I'd like to see someone do that on
a normal bike. Even at very slow speeds when the python tends to remain
more upright, it still isn't difficult to do a 90 degree turn while still
pedalling.

On an update note, I got the final stats and a couple pictures of Marcel's
python. All he needs now is a little squirt of silver paint to freshen the
paint job and mask all the latest work.

Finished the frame lightening holes in a similar manner than Marcel used.

As aside note, if there are no problems with frame stiffness/strength, the
front ends might be able to be built a fair bit lighter still.
