[python] More virtual pivot thoughts

Hello Everybody,
I was trying to picture the front wheel turning while
connected to the 4-bar linkage, and it seems like the
wheel will move sideways a little while turning.
Will this generate some nasty tire rub? A big advantage
of pivoting on the point of contact between the tire
and the road is that the tire does not rub across the
road while turning.
Tadpole trikes have to deal with the problem of tire rub,
and it can be destabilizing. They generally use Ackerman
compensation which when you think about it really is a
4-bar linkage with the wheels connected to the corner pivots
of the fixed section so that they follow concentric arcs
around a shared virtual pivot point. Looks like with a
single wheel in front we end up with the oppostitte
situation where the 4bl introduces the sideways tire rub.
Has anyone simulated the 4bl in motion yet?
Am I just imagining this, or is it a serious problem?
---Hillel
