Hello Rhisiart,
the big Spring awakening now even seizes our northern members ...
Keep us in the loop about your project. If you need webspace, take the
wiki. And don't worry about the old dog's section, nobody will be left
behind.
Thinking of your dogs reminds me of our local shepherd who desperately
wanted to try my python. He eventually took a seat on the bike and then
called his dogs. They came along on both sides so that he could grab
their collars and let himself pull forward until he finally fell after
15 meters. That was so much fun to watch and I wished I had a camera
with me.
Already got a suitable Cymreig name for you python?
Cheers,
Jürgen.

Siwmae Jurgen!
Great vignette of the Maiden Voyage day. I'd just decided, a week
before, that my python must now take priority over all the other jobs
except the Spring planting of my raised beds, and this Spring I
absolutely +will+make my first wobbling ride on my own bike. So
your message came just right. Very enthusing! Sooner or later I want
to get onto one of the python mass rides in continental Europe. But I
guess I'd have to ask for an old dog's section, for riders who can't
go as fast and as far as the younger ones. Think about it, won't you.
I've been putting up a secure perimeter fence around my place, so I
can leave my Turkish Shepherd Dogs safely penned at home (apparently
the dear creatures are too terrifying for anyone else here to feel
able to care for them), and fed by a friend, and so get free time
abroad. I'll be there yet!
