Hello All,
I've been reading about the Python design (and reading this list) for
the last 3 months. It seems like there has been an incredible increase
in interest lately -- 15 posts on April 15th alone! In February there
were only 10 posts!
I really want to make my own, and I was close to buying a used MIG for
$150, but then I got tendonitis and couldn't work for 3 weeks, so I
need to save up again...
So last night I had a dream that I sat down on a Python for the first
time. The first thing I did was run my fingers through the grass, and
it made me very happy! So now I think that it's very important that I
build one now!
My inseam is about 80-81 cm, using the book-straddling method. Does
that mean that my legs are too short for 26" tires? My overall height
is 1.78 m (5' 10").
I'd really like to build a carbon fiber Python, but welding seems
better for cheap prototyping. Anyone thought about making a wooden
Python?
Anyone have any experience carrying weight or hauling a bike trailer
with a Python?
