Read you loud and clear.I was,nt exsepting it would be easy.Has anyone ever put 
a workable steering system on one or would that work or even help?

  The python is very far from a "normal" recumbent. My first ride on recumbent 
was 20km's plus - three years later the first Python ride was ~10cm. I ride 
unicycle and have no balance problems - apart from last saturday night, but 
thats another story :-)

  I'm not trying to scare you off, learning the python is very rewarding, just 
consider it as the second start, just like your first two wheeler.
