Just after building my own python I had a bar-end with the brake
lever/gear mounted on it (see
http://dirkb.dnsalias.net/image/python/whole1.hires.jpg ). It was kind
of fun, but after having several occasions where I lost grip and the
thing rattling on the ground, if found it unsafe.
