Dear Rhisiart
My idea of control spring is to quantify the force necessary to turn
the handlebar. On most bikes the force is small at low speed and
gets higher as the bike goes faster. On the Python, it is reversed.
The force is high at low speed and gets smaller as the bike goes
faster.
There is an anti spring component from the force that supports the
front wheel, i.e. the vertical support from the ground. There is the
pro spring component from the side ward friction force on the front
wheel. This one gets larger with speed.
I explain some of this in the earthlink url below
Bill
Diolch yn fawr (great thanks) Bill.
