[python] Re: Coaster Hub

Hello Paul,

I have acquired a hub gear with a coaster brake, would this be suitable for use on a Python?

The famous Monty from Olaf has a three gear hub with coaster brake: http://www.liggcykel.se/montypage.html

Also Jukkas first python:

They seem to work ok.

Problems I see are the small set of gears and the limited
brake performance. Also you have to fiddle about
having the pedals in the correct position when starting.

The advantage is that you can brake with your feet
and don't need to take out the hands from your
coat pockets in cold winter days. Also you can fully
enclosure the drivetrain if you like.

Cheers,
Jürgen.
