I never made a plywood seat (I'm not into boats :-) - there's a short
picture series af fabrication of a alu seat here :
http://www.hpv-klub.dk/selvbygger/juniorHPV/default.asp (language = danish
aka volapyk). The seatback is formed by hand over a rounded shape - for
example a gastank. 2.0 alu is strong enough for me - 195cm, 90kg. 1.5mm
seat back and 2.0 or 2.5mm "supports" should suffice as well. The shape
kan be sawed with a electric saw with the correct blade. Tape the alu at
first if you want to keep the shiny surface.
Gruss,
Torben
