Hi Dirk, maybe not, there actually was combination of a derailer and a coaster break. I think it was named Torpedo 2x3 and was made by Fichtel & Sachs. It combined a 3 gear internal gear hub with a derailer. There were only two sprockets, but the there was a coaster break!
