I would not give up on 24" just because the selection is smaller, all
you need is one good set of tires. I have all 24" on another trike
project, and was able to get slicks for them that have been very good,
they are only 65psi (not 110), but with the larger rim they have low
rolling resistance when compared to 110psi Comp pools on 20" rims. You
also avoid some of the gear inch hassles you have with 20" wheels.
